The Book of Daniel is a fascinating study of statues, beasts and prophecies. But it is more than this. It is an account of God’s blessing on His people even though they are taken captive into Babylon. We see God’s faithfulness to those who seek Him even when the political environment is hostile. God is able to promote Daniel to a place of great influence in a foreign land and provides heaven’s perspective on the world events occurring in his time as well as ours.
We will meet in the classroom and offer it online as well. Join us for this great study!

This is an opportunity to formally commit to the intention of raising a child up to know Jesus and following His teachings. On this day you, your child, and family will stand in front of the congregation to pray over the children and their future.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Join us for some ‘Summer Fun’ at our annual CF Kidz VBS experience. Our theme this year is SET SAIL! Come aboard, feel the warm sunshine and cool sea breeze as we set sail on a new adventure. An ocean cruise is perfect for relaxing, having fun, and making new memories with the people you love. When we embark on a journey like this, we can trust the captain to lead us toward our destination – and we can trust God in the same way! On this 4-day voyage, kids will develop a deeper understanding of how to follow Jesus when they learn God shows us how to love others, gives us gifts to serve others, prepares us to share the good news, and loves spending time with us!

WATER BAPTISM
Every Fourth Sunday | Federal Way & Mill Creek
Here are some helpful scriptures about why it’s important to be baptized.
Baptism is for all believers, salvation comes first, (accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior).
Acts 2:41: “Those who believed the word that day…were all baptized”.
Baptism is an important part of your salvation.
Mark 16:16: “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.”
You are starting a new life.
2 Cor 5:17: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. You are part of a new family.
Gal 3:26-27: “For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.”
We baptize using full immersion like Jesus was.
Matthew 3:16: “…Jesus rose up out of the water.”
We baptize in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Matthew 28:19: “Now wherever you go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Water baptism is a public declaration after your private decision to receive and follow Jesus.
Romans 6:4: “We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
~ When we are submerged into the water, it’s a burying of our old life; we are leaving our old ways behind.
~ When we come out of the water, we share in the resurrection of Jesus; we share in His new life and freedom.
~ It’s more than just a public declaration of our choice to follow; it’s also transformation in our spirit.
